Rome was not built in a day

The passion is beginning to dim, guys who thought this was the beginning of a great journey are asleep at the Truck Stop of lost commitment, but this is always the way, it is hard to find the time to always go to training, hard to get your Arse of that Couch.
I have been training for just on 50 years now, I know how hard it is, there have been times when I have spent time asleep in the Truck, as a result I do not waste time or energy trying to get people up for it, I leave it to them, there is, also as always, a core of people that understand if you want to improve you have to make the effort, I have three guys that are really beginning to make some progress, 3 guys out of 12?
I do not think that our little project is fading away, after all it is winter and Couches get real nice at this time of year, but we have definitely lost some momentum.

Ip Man 2

Wing Chun INCa's

A bunch of us travelled into Sydney to watch the new Ip Man 2 movie, it was a hoot of a day out, we met in China Town and had an open air lunch {I do not know what the Chinese is for al fresco} which was really tasty, then we walked up to the theatre having a few Beers on the way, when we got there the theatre was booked out so we where "forced" to go and have a few more Beers while we waited for the next showing. While the Movie was not even close to being historically accurate it was very entertaining, Donnie Yen does a good job of being Ip Man not surprising when you think that he actually studied Wing Chun as a youth, the fight scenes where mostly silly , not really Wing Chun but everyone loved them and I am sure we will see some of the moves sneaking into training, all in all a Movie worth the ticket price.

The future started last Week!!!

This morning I received our Wing Chun Inc. Club T-Shirts, they look Pukka, at last things are falling into place, we have a name, we have a Web Site, we have the beggining of a Uniform and we have a BLOG.

The main function of this BLOG is so that any important information regarding our training can be sent out and received in the shortest possible time, especially as a few of the Guys only check there E-mails about every full moon, it also allows communication from far flung places, and there is always the Web Site
